πΏ Ulajh (2024) – β β βββ

Had the makings of a good movie but falls apart. Pity – could have been good.
Spaceman Spiff to the rescue
These are the movies we have seen recently.
πΏ Ulajh (2024) – β β βββ

Had the makings of a good movie but falls apart. Pity – could have been good.
πΏ Accused (2026) – β β βββ

Serviceable made for tv drama held together by the ever awesome konkona sensharma.
πΏ Ikkis (2026) – β β β β β

Even with inconsistent editing, Ikkis is the anti-war war movie we need today. I watched this only coz of Sriram Raghavan behind the camera and it didnβt disappoint. No jingoism of any kind, and represents Pakistanis as humans with feelings – itβs a surprise that a deeply emphatic movie about people on both sides can get made in India today. The performances are all first rate but bookended by Dharmendraβs bittersweet and endearing last performance. I did not expect an Indian movie to take a tone like this movie did about India Pakistan.
πΏ Fall (2022) – β β βββ

The movie has some legit vertigo inducing scenes. But it runs out of steam so quickly with horrendous acting to boot. Wish it was better – there was a decent movie in there somewhere.
πΏ Gladiator (2000) – β β β β β

Watched it again with kid after like decade(s) so I had mostly forgotten a lot of story. What a sweeping epic and I forgot how fucking good Joaquin Phoenix. They simply donβt make movies like these anymore.
πΏ The Fable (2025) – β ββββ

Omg I really tried hard over 3 sittings to get through this and only managed 40 mins. Whatever the fuck this crap was.
πΏ Section 375 (2019)

A well made court procedural that took us by surprise that makes a good point about law vs justice.
πΏ Speed (1994) – β β β β β

Fun campy masala mix that we rewatched again after it first came out. R enjoyed it and I honestly did not remember the movie at all!
πΏ Tere Ishk Mein (2025) – β ββββ

Jesus this was horrible. And level of absolute nonsense, complete lack of logic and even hilarity at end was something. Wow.
