Absolutely insufferable! We couldn’t get past an hour of this tripe. How the hell did Vishal Bharadwaj go so wrong?

Runs out of gas in end but still a very lovely show!
🍿 Do Deewane Seher Mein (2026) – ★★☆☆☆
Complete snoozefest. A 2 hour 12 minute movie felt like 3 and half hours.
🍿 Tu Yaa Main (2026) – ★★★☆☆
There is so much to like about this movie, except its length. At 2 and half hours this is just too long especially since the movie reveals its villain very early up the game. This should have been far more taut. That said such a gorgeously shot movie!
🍿 Gaslit by My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story (2024) – ★★☆☆☆
A 30 min episode in a random tv show would have sufficed. Also gaslit? Woman, the man was straight out abusing you.
🍿 Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere (2026) – ★★★★☆
A terrific take down and look inside the manosphere and it’s truly depressing what are young men into. Louis is terrific!

Had the makings of a good movie but falls apart. Pity – could have been good.

Serviceable made for tv drama held together by the ever awesome konkona sensharma.
🍿 Ikkis (2026) – ★★★★☆
Even with inconsistent editing, Ikkis is the anti-war war movie we need today. I watched this only coz of Sriram Raghavan behind the camera and it didn’t disappoint. No jingoism of any kind, and represents Pakistanis as humans with feelings – it’s a surprise that a deeply emphatic movie about people on both sides can get made in India today. The performances are all first rate but bookended by Dharmendra’s bittersweet and endearing last performance. I did not expect an Indian movie to take a tone like this movie did about India Pakistan.
