Woke up way too early and now I can’t stop reading election news. Pleasantly surprised democrats didn’t get a beating but also not entirely hopeful senate is in the bag yet. That said good job Pennsylvania and Michigan! Teach some to Virginia!

And our guest bathroom remodel has begun today. I feel like we are addicted to thodphod in the house constantly that we need that noise to keep us company. Also, our very economical all in one contractor is available for next 10 days and I am like yo dude get this over with now.
The biggest diff between democrats and republicans is democrats are constantly looking for the smallest reason or excuse to not support their candidate, while republicans have an more hearty approach of forgiving their candidates as shitty as they are coz they are one of them.
What’s the actual value add of a fireplace in a home these days? Feels like these are relics from olden times that now exist coz it makes the house look warm and classy but frankly is completely useless IMO. I wouldn’t mind replacing my wood fireplace with electric fancy one at some pt. I mean I like the idea of wood fire I just don’t think it’s something I would do on a daily or monthly basis – more like maybe once in a while during holidays types. The electric one will probably get more utility as a showpiece and no wood crap.
