Like in amalfi and positano they explicitly tell you in restaurants tip is not included and said in a language that suggests we should tip. You check the bills and there is service charge already included which is a first for us in this trip! Guess who are tipping on top of it all again? Yeah no prizes for guessing. Like stop bringing your fucking useless tipping culture everywhere! We even saw a tip button on a checkout machine in a boutique store here. Like wtf!

The amalfi coast is just drop dead gorgeous. We literally are staying in the worst city of all of them and it is still decently pretty from far. However the insane Americanization is a bummer. Luckily smaller cities offer respite and feeling of being in Italy. Americans simply ruin everything.

Ravello completed changed our view of amalfi. Absolutely gorgeous fucking place. It’s crazy how much the vibe shifts once out of the shitty fish market called amalfi town. Today’s dinner view is just priceless.

Last night I had “american chicken burger” for dinner and I cannot tell you how much it made me happy. Just the fact that it was not a fucking pasta or pizza or mozzarella was enough.
