Last day here before we leave for the final leg of the trip tomorrow; it’s a very short stay before our flights back home. At this point in the trip though all I can think of is my bed, bhindi sabji and chapathi. Thankfully our final pit stop is in a bigger city so Indian food is very much on cards!

I had an awesome vantage point on the boat. Of course the kids saw me and then took it over 😑

The 6 hour boat tour spanning the amalfi coast was certainly the highlight of the stay. Lots of great views and perfect swimming stops with lots of opportunities to snorkel, cliff jump and chill. The kids called it the highlight of their entire trip! This is the only way to see amalfi!
The right way to do amalfi

Today’s sunset view

Another spectacular sunset dinner with a view. We have had some some great luck with our dinner reservations in amalfi. Sure they are pricey but with 6 people everyone gets to taste something different. The wines are on a different level. Money well spent.
Another kind of do nothing day. Most of our Amalfi trip has been largely unplanned except for tonight’s restaurant (coz Aug 15 is Italian main holiday of Ferragosto) and tomorrows day long boat trip. We are glad we left it largely unplanned because it’s so hot here. Pool in the apt complex has come handy. After the initial 20k+ steps a day at beginning of trip we are largely averaging 9-13k in the last 5 days. I say that’s a good wind down.
I have eaten enough sea bass this trip to last me 6 months. Yes Italians I know you guys love this fish and I honestly love the way you make it too but yaar after the 6th time thoda masala is missing feels. But golly the fish is GOOD here!
