I honestly feel that many leftists love the idea of protests and getting their instagram shots more than actually getting out to vote for the better party. Leftists will be single issue non-voters in election, but will quickly change colors and protest about everything. The protest pictures basically prove it. #handsoff my body, care, medical, science (oh, but I won’t vote for genocide joe!).

This is a stock market that has been untethered from reality for a long time. Does anyone think they are an indication of anything at all these days? 1000 points up, 1000 points down, 1000 points sideways etc absolutely nothing makes sense of what the market is reacting to, or who it is reacting to. This is just a “vibes” stock market. I refuse to take it seriously as an indication of anything right now.

My god what a fuckup. So i reach the doctor’s office this morning for the procedure only for the rude front desk lady to tell me that they did not have my procedure scheduled. I was like jesus look at this email! She then comes back and says I got the wrong location, and even though email said so, I had to go to their other location for the procedure. No apology, no nothing – just oops, go there instead. The other place was 10 miles away, but I was like I was fasting for 24 hours anyway so might as well drive. We drive through rain and morning traffic to get to other location only for their front desk to tell me, “well we dont have the equipment to do this procedure; the equipment to do it is actually in the location you went to this morning. We also dont know why you were sent here!” Like how the fucking fuck does this happen? didnt the two receptionists actually talk about the procedure I was there for? Its incredible how callously they treat patients. I told the other receptionist to cancel my appointment then and there, and I said this was non urgent so I am very happy to take my business elsewhere even if I need to wait 2 months more now. What a spectacularly frustrating morning. On the plus side, I can eat immediately so there’s that!

Doing a capsule video endoscopy because my previous gastro missed doing it when he did the regular endoscopy. The prep work for this is half the same thing as colonoscopy so it means it’s painful. After 12pm today I am on clear liquid diet, and after 10 pm tonight I cannot even have a sip of water till 10 am tomorrow morning, at which point I can go back on liquid diet for another couple of hours followed by a light “snack”. All in all it will be a good 28 hours from 12pm today before my next proper meal and I am already dreaming of rice and daal. On the plus side chugging coconut water has been great and making this more bearable.

I hope it was worth the front row seats at the inauguration though.

After the wedding over the weekend I created a google photos album to share with friends. Friends shared it with their friends and so on and now the album has become a meeting pot for all people to add their own photos to the album – and now we have a complete snapshot of the wedding festivities from day before to end. This is the kind of ease-of-use and feature rich functionality Apple will not and cannot ever build. Its amazing how well done google photos actually is.
