Sold the last of my World Cup tickets for France Vs Iraq game after my friend backed out – I sold them prior to fifa assigning the seat and the day of Feb transfer they assigned it – and holy cow they were in a spectacular location on the field. The buyers will love it!
The single biggest difference to blood sugar levels after a meal is a walk. I have now tested this with continuous glucose monitor for several days. A 15-20 min walk right after eating literally does wonders vs just sitting down again at desk or sofa. The difference is staggering. And I am not talking fast brisk walk – just normal pace. Don’t sit, is all.
There is this white guy at work that I really like. Super smart, super helpful and is always ready to share as much as he can. Just one problem – he hates the eng team he manages and often gets into extreme arguments with them. I don’t manage his Eng team nor am I qualified to do so either but I depend on this guy to give me information that will help me build a solution and bridge the gap from product to leadership and sales. After weeks and weeks of insisting he was right and things had to go his way, we figured out that he was indeed wrong and the Eng team that he hates was right. He even forced other product managers to change their delivery plans because he was convinced he was right. Since he has been here for a while and is considered a top SME nobody questioned him. Well after the debacle yesterday, all he could message me yesterday was “I am so sorry! I will just stay out of it and let you lead”. All I could mutter under breath was “you motherfucker!” – now I am the one tasked with managing angry people all over the place. As they say, immigrants get the job done!
I am looking forward to see what more boring curved shit Tim Ternus is going to inflict upon us today. I still haven’t forgiven the mess that is Mojave/ios27. Also keep a count on number of times a presenter says AI or AGENTIC AI!
