In Vancouver we spent a good time at bar talking about our current administration. Everyone had words galore to say so but almost all my colleagues said the exact same thing – they still won’t vote for Newsom in 2028 if he is the nominee 😖. White progressives truly are a delusional bunch. That said Mamdani is a brand and these colleagues were from all over the country and everyone of them loves him and hate how the establishment is still not supporting him. The democratic leadership still hasn’t understood the need of the hour either.

If Tucker Carlson could rebuild his brand without Fox News and using online reach, so can Colbert and Kimmel. I hope these two comedians decide to use this opportunity to free themselves from restrictions of legacy media world and build their own brand online. There is no reason they cannot, and I sincerely hope they do. We need them to break the shackles and go all in. We don’t need them to apologize or just wither away in shadows. We need them to do what Tucker Carlson did.
