At what point do you become a bad cop about previous owner packages? Our previous owners like us didn’t move very far away – annoyingly almost every other week we get a package addressed to them. So far we have been nice enough to drop them by their friends in the community or asked them to pick up if it was a large package (we have had big rugs delivered!). But at what point do we just stop and hadpo their stuff? It’s getting annoying being the nice guy – and worst of all the previous owners won’t share their number with us so we have to go via their friends. I am at fuck you state now.

The season finale of Rings of Power was the best of the 8 episodes. I hope the rest of the series really picks up.

Interest rates are close to 7% now but I am not really seeing any opening price drops in our area for SFH. I would have thought houses opening in million plus range would open much lower but that hasn’t happened.

Man three days of offsite was tiring – and its the mental exhaustion not physical that makes you feel more tired

I am surprised by how many folks are coming back to work, honestly. Of course the age group of people is noticeably younger who are at work, but no, I dont know why companies are crying about RTO. Young people are in fact coming in. They will stay there while we retire in 20 years. Its a matter of 20 years. Hang on.

Went to a steakhouse and ate fish last night and I must admit the fish was goddamn delicious! No regrets not picking the steak.

Last day of offsite and sniffles lol.

Day 2 of off-site and it has been a refreshing change to finally meet the team in person. Remote work is good and all but doesn’t beat the in person productivity IMO. I wish more of my team was local so we could do work from work 1-2 days a week.
