Look I am very excited about House of the Dragon but frankly at this point I want the story to be about dragon drama and in the end everyone dies and dragons rule the earth. I can be bought into that show.

Another birthday comes, and another goes. We wish over facetime and whatsapp, and after 15 mins of loving heartfelt convo, we are back to work and family in India goes back to sleep. Being away from family it feels so bad to miss out on smaller moments, simpler moments like watching your neice grow up. I wish they all moved here so we could all be together geographically. I wish we were back home instead so we would all be together too – after all, if not for family, what else binds me to either country?

Meanwhile the 11 year old is legit annoyed that she was woken up by the dog after being in deep slumber for 9-10 hours. Enjoy it while it last kid, you will forever long for it in your life.
