Went for a outdoor bday party in booneylands yesterday and it was so frigging cold (ok like 40) I was frozen to the bone after coming back. I needed a really hot bath to get my body back to senses. I truly truly detest cold more than ever now. Fuck this.
Parents who regularly trot their kids videos on Instagram and tiktok earn special kind of hate from me.
I have enjoyed watching most racing movies that have come out in last decade – Ford vs Ferrari and Rush notably. But nothing comes close to the visceral feel of Senna (ok it’s a documentary I get it).
Ford Vs Ferrari was a great watch.
One big misconception I had when we brought home Hobbes as a pup last year was somehow we would have this intense familial bond from day 1. It was the opposite – the pup stages were hard on us (me specifically), especially combining the other stressors going on at same time. Even before 2 months were up we left him at our friends to go to India and then we had to delay picking him up coz of covid etc.
This December is truly the first year he has spent with us without any break and I feel like the bond between us and Hobbes is now about solidified. In the initial stages we cared for a pup, but now we are so in tune with him that it doesn’t feel like “caring” but just like being with another kid in house. I do think however his hospital stay in august had a deep impact on me personally and I am still shook by what he went through. Cant deny the after effect of that also made us connect with him more.
Assuming Messi defeats this France team in final it will be something superhuman. Miracles have happened. But first both must get there.
At this point its France’s World Cup to lose. There is no chance other 3 teams match up to France’s quality right now – France will have to majorly fuck up in semis or final to not win this cup. In short this World Cup is France’s to lose.
Please tell me we are not going to see a France Croatia final again.
