After 12 main meals of fish I am ready for a break. I don’t need no fish in my life for 3 months!
Instagram stories are too much work lol. I tried yesterday and it was so much pressure
Good grief my WhatsApp is full of har ghar tiranga photos and posts. Ugggggggh.
Street hawker selling coconuts on beach.
Me: how much for one?
Him:15$
Me: no thanks. I will drink 3 bottled coconut water bottles back home ✌️
Had “conch” fritters for the first time last night. Conch is a very popular item around here and you get everything possible – curry, salad, fritters or more in conch. I could never imagine conch as a delicacy and I don’t think I am a big fan either.
Last day at Turks and it feels just the right length. 5-6 days island vacations are best – a week is often just too much. Plan for today is to plop by the beach from morning to evening.
I totally expect cdc to reverse decision in 2 months saying mask up to prevent monkey pox
I will keep ignoring cdc and do what I need to do to feel safe.
Also interesting history. Turks is a overseas territory of Britain, but uses dollar as official currency. The country(?) has tried to gain independence thrice but that movement has largely drowned out, I guess, mostly because all residents of Turks are British citizens, and part of also European Union (don’t know how). Turks citizens can work/live anywhere in EU but that reciprocal rights doesnn’t exist.
