I may have grievances against western world, like USA, but one thing you cannot take away from people here is in the right areas, they will stand up for you. This is a refreshing thing about this country. Do I know half the country is bat shit crazy and nut case? Absolutely. But the other half genuinely stands up for others. You are genuinely welcomed by others and they will stand for you. Does it happen all over america – no, but it will in many liberal places. Compare that to Arab world, lol, wont’ even go there.
My dad was COO for a large bank in Kuwait for a majority of his second half of his stay. Once while in his bank parking lot, he backed out before an arab could get his car out. The man was so enraged that he came to our car, banged on the window until my dad opened it to calm down the situation. He then spat on my dad multiple times before dad rolled up the window and drove off. Me, brother and mom were shocked to say the least as the man looked quite well to do types. Will never forget that ever. That incident perhaps solidified my decision never ever to reside in arab countries, no matter how much money they throw. It is not worth it.
