I think the feeling is more exacerbated because we lived in a sun drenched townhouse for 9 years. We did not need to turn a single light on in any room until sunset – it was that well lit. And I absolutely love that feeling of natural light filling up the house completely – so adjusting to the house surrounded by trees with little light has been a shocking adjustment to put it mildly. If chopping down the trees does not fix the problem I sincerely don’t know how long I can keep living there and we only just moved in lol.

Come fall one of the saddest things I will have to do is chop down 5 trees in my backyard. Our house is around a bank, and is set back more than other houses. We are also in the most wooded part of community. The result is that even on the most sunniest days we do not get enough sunlight inside the house, which for someone like me is a big bummer. Of course I know fall and winter will be different, but this is a quality of life issue for us now – and chopping down the trees completely is one of the two ways we can get some natural light into our house. I wish I didn’t have to cut the trees but at this point the lack of light bothers me way more than the tree itself.

A part of me is glad Trying is coming back for season 4 but part of me is also like the 3 season arc ended so incredibly well that there wasn’t a need honestly for more seasons. I legit had a tear in my eye watching the season finale.

Trying is the best show on tv hands down and Esther Smith is the best fucking actress there is today on the series. Her performance is beyond compare imo in the third season.
