Kid and wife out shopping while the dog has decided to sleep in another room = blissful Saturday 😁

Its been a few months since I moved to micro.blog and I feel like I’ve become largely incompetent now. On Twitter, there was so much to be outraged about and so much information to cram and learn (& so little time!) before sounding off like a expert in medieval wars, nuclear physics, education reform, soccer rules and more! Now I feel like I just say what I want and… there is nothing to outrage about! I keep worrying I am not a banking expert but then it dawns on me I dont have to be and its ok, and thats such a unsettling feeling. Thats its OK to actually ignore the world. Arggggh!

Started Pathan. I thought the movie ended and realized we just read interval point.

I know the current tendency in homes is to have all wood/LVP flooring everywhere, but for my money I love the idea of nice thick carpet on upper floors / sleeping areas of house. They give a cozy and warm vibe. And most people end up using rugs to spruce up their floors anyway. Now if only I can convince my other half to put carpet on upper floors!

Can’t believe I had move my meetings around coz I have to leave my doggo at a pet “spaw” today!

I guess we are in the right neighborhood then!

Wanted to eat exactly 4 krackjack biscuits, but discovered the packet had 6. Eating 4 would mean there would only be 2 left in packet, and eating all 6 was too many. 5 was not an option. So i ended up eating 3 and saving the other 3 biscuits for later.

I am never ever going to forgive the white trash suburban soccer moms for giving Virginia Youngkin coz CRT. I hope you all rot in your fucking McMansions while your appointed stooge rampages public education here. Glad Virginia has only one term governor.

As I watch this Indian team on the field with a lot of older folks in team, its a weird feeling to know that I am now going to see another generation of cricketers retire in the next couple of years. We grew up with likes of Tendular/Ganguly/Dravid so their retirement years ago felt like a reflection of time gone by, and it suddenly felt like you had grown old too when they retired. Now that yet another generation of cricketers are on verge of retirement, it feels like yet another “omg we are old” moment.
