I think that free feeding is underrated. We did not start free feeding Hobbes out of choice – it was more like first time dog owners, didnt know what to do or how to gauge his hunger so we just put food and water out entire day. Our breeder was always very pro free-feeding so we were like ok can’t be that bed. Except for inconsistent poop times, free feeding has actually worked great for us in the last 18 months. Hobbes has developed no food aggression and is patient with his food. He eats just what he wants and never seems to over eat – which has made him a lean machine (touchwood!). Now with me and wife RTO i dont know how long we can keep up with this free-feed routine, but I am hundred percent onboard with the free-feed train.

Someone we know recently bought a 11000 sqft home in a 3 acre property. To put that in context, my entire property including house & yard is around 12000 sqft. I can’t imagine a house as big as my entire property! I will probably need walking directions inside the house to find my way around.
