[Based on this HomePod guide](https://www.macrumors.com/guide/homepod-upgraders-buyers-guide/) by MacRumors it feels like Apple somehow managed to the HomePod worse than before. And jesus christ whats with this temperature and humidity sensor? Those are some of the cheapest fucking things you can put in a device, but why compromise on audio quality for such a premium device? Gonna stick to my old HomePod as long as it lasts.

Finished S1 of Only Murders In the Building last night. Very enjoyable though feels very elongated towards the end. Hopefully S2 is good as well and we are going to avoid S3 coz Meryl Streep.
People are still discussing whether to give up your seat on a plane for someone else? Personal rec: Only give up your seat for people with small babies, or the seat offered is similar or better than yours. Unless either of the conditions are true, there is absolutely no reason to entertain people.
Once coming back from Las Vegas to DC, I was agressively asked by a mom to switch my aisle seat with a middle seat so her early teenage son could sit on the aisle seat while she occupied the opposite aisle seat. I declined and told her to move to middle seat instead if it was that a big concern. Initially I felt bad about this move. But then flight takes off and this woman is actually traveling with full family with husband, kids, her mom & dad…. and they are *all* sitting on aisle seats. So fucking convenient. That was all I needed to feel better again about myself.
Frankly the kid looked relieved he didnt have to tolerate his mom for next 5 hours anyway so I might have actually helped him.

Making some initial plans around national parks visit. I am tempted to fly into either Salt Lake City or Vegas (preferred). If I have 10 days, I wonder if I can do Zion, Bryce, Grand Escalante, AND Arches via Capitol Reef. That just feels like way too much to cover. I wonder if just Zion / Bryce and Grand Escalante are way to go.
It might be sad that Amazon smile is shutting down but frankly nobody really uses it. It relied too much on users to remember to visit amazon smile and purchase via there.
This whole 4 day week is productive is such a joke. We are Americans. This is what will happen if we move to a 4 day week in this country: we will work even more hours in 4 days to cover up for the 5th day because nobody is going to work less. Since we now have Friday Saturday and Sunday off every imaginable kid activity will be scheduled during the days off so parents like us are going to be taxi drivers for our kids even more than ever, resulting in horrible traffic everywhere. By Sunday we are all going to be so exhausted with activities and 4 day bell begins again. Maybe wish carefully what you want because Americans are very good making their own lives miserable.
