I enjoy gardening work in moderation. It’s never my first preference of things to do, but once in a while I will do it and enjoy it.

What would I not give to watch Sangam 2 featuring Melania torn between two warmongers Trump and a Putin on each side of continent. This love triangle has makings of an all time blockbuster. Imagine Putin crooning “yeh mera prem patra padhkar” or Trump serenading “dost dost na raha….”. Oof take my money already!
Heading into the weekend with a healthy dose of koothu paratha and shira (made by MIL). Lovely stuff! Her shira literally feels like the hand of god made it.
Apparently I made it through the FIFA Tickets Visa Pre-sale. I guess everyone else did too? I am curious which specific tickets I might actually be able to buy, if at all coz I imagine they opened it up to hundreds of thousands of people anyway.
I caught clips of the debate between Winsome (R) and Spanberger (D) for VA governor elections. My god Winsome was insanely annoying and basically created a ruckus. But Spanberger, OMG, I’d rather watch paint dry. Like bring SOME. FUCKING. FIRE to the room. When the other candidate has completely gone wild, not allowing you to speak a single word, nor anyone can understand a single word – its time for you to bring your aggressive side out and shut her up. Instead she looked like a school girl in distress being bullied nonstop and all she could do was just answer the question. And then fucking them too – like Jesus way to throw Jay Jones under the bus. Really? voters should make a call on whether to vote for Jones (D) as AG. You fucking realize that Miyares (R) the current AG is a fucking nightmare. The only reason Spanberger may even win this election is maybe because of some anti-Trump feelings, but my god she is terrible.
Reminder: Orange man did not lose the Nobel. Maria won it for the right reasons. Focus on the winner. But of course I expect the entire media to focus on you know who.
First real chilly day after a long time. While I love October Sun, not looking forward to November rain and winter! Can we just jump to march after October?
Ended up having a paan last night with too much choona. Not recommended. My entire throat is burnt and I can barely speak. I didn’t even finish the pan and spit it out but the damage was done. Ugh.
Everyone in USA criticizing comedians for doing the Riyadh festival are all out on the streets protesting day in and out against their own government yes? Or it’s just keyboard  warriors.
My manager and I had a long impromptu 1:1 talking about kids, right wing extremism and all the shit right now around us. It feels truly upsetting. He was talking about how just 30 miles from here he was in a bar last week and folks that you’d normally think as regular people were cheering about all the H1b and anti-immigration checks that Trump is doing. Back home, his own teenage son is somehow being dragged into mansosphere and he does not know where he is getting all his ideas from. His son thinks trans kids are a menace to society and nobody should hang around them. I shared about a lot of immigrant concerns I have but also told him about rise of right wing in India and anti-muslim sentiments even within Indians here. I don’t think our 1:1 was supposed to be this, but it was a nice chat with a white parent who is clearly concerned about what is going on here. We both agreed that this country is beyond the point of no return and we doesn’t see any hope anymore.
