I have heard earth revolves around something called as a Sun. Is that true? Coz I haven’t seen him out in days and days together here. Like enough already let’s just bring back the sun.

Heat was on my watch list but after the godfather rewatch experience I am in two minds whether to touch that movie!

So a new years resolution (or more like continue to do what I am doing) is to keep my interest in various things I’ve been doing past couple of weeks since A and R are on vacation. I feel like I’ve had so much time to dabble in art (not that I am good at it but it just makes me happy and that is all!), cleaning up and going marie kondo around the house and also getting in my walks/gym. I mean sure life with family is definitely busier especially planning our days and weeks around kid activities but still I couldn’t have been THAT busy that I did not have time for any of this? Seems more like self inflicted laziness of why I didnt want to do it vs actually having time. I am sure even with all the chores and time tables I should able to find time to do some hobbies – so this new year I’d like to do more of what I am doing right now. (And no, cleaning is not a hobby but I do need to Marie Kondo so much shit that it will take a few months of weekend work).

Favorite movies of 2024: This was easy – Dune 2 and Inside Out 2 in English, and Berlin in Hindi.
Favorite TV show of 2024: This was easy too – Trying S4 and Slow Horses S4, both on Apple TV were the best shows by a long fucking mile.

23 movies and 10 TV shows this year we’ve seen. 10 might undercount by a few since we finished multiple seasons of a single show but they are few. This would indicate a movie every other week with quite a bit of TV shows thrown in. I think its an approximate representation of how much TV I watch, which is not much. We also start a lot of TV shows that we never end up watching beyond 1-2 episodes.

Crazy to think that it’s been five years now since the pandemic. To think that crazy 2020 year was now 5 years ago is just mid boggling.

Merry Christmas! I got a splendid nights rest (admittedly most of this week!) and I am beginning to treasure a good night’s sleep as a gift enough! Plans for the day include doing laundry, art, meeting a friend and finishing up godfather II which I got to intermission last night.

Was talking to bro today and apparently Goa tourism decline is so bad that nobody is showing up anymore. People prefer to go to Thailand or Vietnam for same costs and better service rather than go to Goa and pay the same. I didn’t think Goa had become that expensive but bro was like it’s so out of hand.

I am still searching for that perfect mid-layer jacket that is breathable and can be layered along with another jacket in 20s-30s weather. I layer a fleece pullover and then a 650 fill down-jacket. More often than not I end up sweating a lot because the fleece pull-over is not breathable. Need a jacket that is as warm as fleece but breathable. The search continues – I have already way way too many jackets and pullovers to count so I am not sure one more won’t raise eyebrows yes?
