In other news now that the blunt of arctic blast is behind us I am happy to report that our hvac actually kept up all these days. It seems like the final hvac technician’s analysis that it was ecobee that was the issue may actually have been right! Touchwood I hope this good luck continues and signals an end to our winter hvac drama for a while.

I have been very happy today with way pika pods work. Very efficient and easy. If it stands and the estimates are right I shouldn’t be paying more than 20-25 bucks a year if that on hosting a pod. Will know with time I suppose, but good first day of setting up.
The weather is finally getting better which means the snow is finally melting. Right from first week of Jan the snow has stuck around because it’s been so cold. Which means I nor the doggo have gone for a walk at all in this weather because majority of our neighbors have not cleared their sidewalks which are now frozen tundra. Even today it was just wet and slippery all over but we managed a mile long walk finally. Snow is fun first two hours and then it’s a fucking curse for next few weeks. I can’t wait for it to all melt away soon.
