Your close friend will take you to fancy bars and breweries. Your BFF will take you to the most shanty dingy bar around because that’s what’s reminds you both of hostel days 😂. Exactly how my last night went.

At that age where young people are giving up seats for me on the metro and I AM NOT FUCKING OLD! I AM JUST LATE 40s AND MY BACK AND LEGS HURT!

In spite of rapid urbanization and growth Bangalore still is surprisingly green with lots of trees. It probably explains why it is not quite as polluted as say Mumbai or Delhi. And in spite of uncontrolled sprawl Bangalore still looks greener than concrete hell like Dallas.

Todays plan include more shopping more eating and a night out at friends. Tomorrow morning I shall be treated to yummy delicacies made by my foi who is going to stay over few days. I must have put on 5 pounds easy already.

An excellent Kerala style lunch with mutton, fish, beef, Malabar parotta and ghee rice at Chef Pillais. Yum 😍

My niece demanded a cup of mango juice along with a chocolate and I was only too happy to oblige with the sugar. Not my kid, I don’t care if she gets a sugar rush 😂 (no, don’t worry I am not irresponsible but also, I meet her once in 2 years I am allowed to spoil her!)

Only in India trains can be “super fast” and “super fast express” – like how is the express anymore faster than super fast?

At that point in the trip where my dad is beginning to wear down on me 😆. Happened later than I thought so that’s progress!

I think I am definitely past the age of raising toddlers. Did other people look at us and wonder how the fuck did we manage or i just had an angel kid? At this point it feels like even 6 people will be insufficient to raise the two kids in this household.

A break day tomorrow before meeting another friend Friday night where I will sleepover at his place. Tomorrow will be shopping! I am looking fwd to Friday – it’s a tradition at this pt that every-time we visit India we spend a night at my friend’s house.
