The outdoor pool has been open a week but also closed because water is too cold for swim – what a great start to summer swim this year and it shows no sign of warming up enough to heat up the pool. It’s fucking April still!
Damn that third episode of bin Laden manhunt in netflix was just gripping tv. On the whole I loved the doc series for the way it’s put together. Very gripping and well done.
Listening to “Yeh Jo desh hai Tera” and I wonder how would Swades be remade today? Cant believe this classic is 20 years old and remains an aspirational movie, although unrealistic.

A friend’s friend moved from Dubai to Calgary it seems. What a wild swing from 50 Celsius peak summer to -50 in winters in Canada. Gosh they must have had a complete body shock of sorts.
