All our friends had told us that Pompeii was boring, horribly hot and not worth the pit stop. Turned out it was one of the best guided tours we had with views to boot. The kids loved it, the history was awesome, and the afternoon breeze cut some of the heat. I am still missing this place!

@pratik I have it but it’s not worth the premium imo. It’s just a fork of other similar tools but lacks anything beyond what you already get on web for free. I cancelled the plus part for next year.

@pratik Much against my wishes. We went with another family and kids insisted on staying together. I still got my way in Sicily and Amalfi (though Amalfi was a aparthotel). If it was just us I would not.

Their AI feature is definitely way better. For instance when I queried monarch AI with “how much did I spend on Italy trip this year” it just couldn’t get the right answer. After I hand tagged all transactions it started answering correctly but then if I had to do all that it was pointless. On the other hand right off the bat origin AI gave almost a correct answer save for some transactions is confused with Peru – but overall its answer was useful, closer to actual cost and much better in its usefulness without me having to do all the tagging business. social.lol/@sde/11714555530999

I got a 1$ for first year referral to try out Origin financial so gonna give it go. It looks like it’s a mash of personal capital with monarch with more focus on investment / retirement and less on complex budgeting – though has plenty of features for that too. Not that I dislike monarch per se.
