@pratik It didn’t help that I was not good at math and it probably infuriated him more because he was also a math wiz in his school / college days. He got so disappointed in me he didn’t even try with my bro which was a good call.

The teen has taken AP chemistry this year and my dad is a chemistry major who loves the subject. My teen is like wow I am gonna learn so much from grandpa and he can prepare me for my tests! I was like lol so cute my memories of him preparing me for my math tests were not exactly pleasant so good luck to you.

Already made a mental list of everything I have done wrong in the last 1 year. Sooner or later tho I will hear “sharmaji ki beti is vp at google, how come you are not” type comments.

We spent the Labor Day weekend cleaning up the house for my dad’s arrival coz the daughter in law is very stressed about the upkeep of the house. (For the record it’s absolutely fine but I am not picking battles. I am just following instructions – “just do what I say and try not to use your brain”). Or as in Hindi – zyaada dimaag mat lagao, jo bol rahi hoon, Karon! Sometimes I think I am the teen in my house.

Good thing dad tried to call and checkin via phone last night because the agent was like sir there is no ticket in your name! What followed was a bizarre 1am call to both delta and virgin to sort out the issue. Turns out the front end is all fine but in the backend they never attached the ticket to the booking. Like WTF? How do things like this even happen?

@pratik So Marco is basically saying it’s so much more convenient and nicer for him to not know that his neighbor is a racist douche bag so that he can still be friends with them? What an odd statement. I mean we all know some of these type of people and we put up with them — but that doesn’t mean we don’t acknowledge the fact.
