I heard from my brother this morning that my bua’s husband was diagnosed with prostrate cancer after what seems like endless hospital runs this year for him. Of course dad knew about it since yesterday and has been acting all quiet and hush hush and I am not gonna ask why. Like…. I don’t know why he feels that he shouldn’t be talking about it with me 🤷‍♂️

When Claude code says I verified the query works what it really means is that the query executed without error, not that it returned anything useful. Based on the info I asked it to run a complex query that it took one hour to run and successfully completed it with all null and zero values. Technically though Claude must feel very happy it did a great job.

@AnirbanM I have the ai pro plan from Gemini – it rocks for general purpose use. The default Gemini is probably not as good though.

@AnirbanM I already don’t care about any models at work. I give a task and my front end agent picks the best model to get the task done. I don’t care if it’s Claude or ChatGPT

@AnirbanM I think the real reason is they have now realized that nothing sets any of them apart. We are approaching a level of intelligence with large models that there is not much difference between what each one of them does. If your favorite one doesn’t do something today, just wait a few weeks and the competitor will have it. That speed of differentiation will drop even more dramatically making model choice an after thought. If that is so, it’s a race to bottom for profitability for any of these companies.
