@astrovelo @AnirbanM They do now have memory. But yes Claude or others are the choice for heavy work I assume. I get AI pro plan through fios for 10 bucks a month which also gives me 5tb on storage and access to all their latest models and higher tokens. From a price to features ratio they are unbeatable.

@AnirbanM @astrovelo I saw this video and honestly it’s just rage bait. He took one use case, hyped it up as if no other ai model would ever have any bugs and then went on a bash. FWIW I crashed Claude yesterday and raked up a 200$ bill for my misadventure (using latest model at work!). That whole argument about they were the original papers behind is also hogwash. Guess what Cisco invented networking and storage but it was Amazon that made cloud into reality when in fact Cisco was best positioned to be that leader. That’s just how innovation happens. Gemini is not that good at coding for sure, but the fact that it ties so well into the Google app ecosystem makes it good enough to use on a daily basis – esp if you use their apps from docs to sheets to photos, calendar, Gmail etc.

It is executing 60 queries for me today. It has tried to “efficiently” bunch them together and run it faster , except it has failed every single time. I keep telling running those queries one by one is faster but BC won’t listen and keeps going off to do “let me find an efficient way of doing this”. No you prick – just executive them one by one! Fuck you.

Claude code has the potential to be my kid in the sense that I can keep yelling at it and it keeps ignoring me and no feelings are hurt.

Widows Bay rightfully winning all the awards. Also, Tom Phelprey in Task was absolutely phenomenal. All of good wins balanced out by the other side in The Pitt and Pluribus.

@swoods So far iOS 27 seems better but tbh the design language is still weird. I am too afraid to upgrade my home Mac and will not update my work one as long as the let me
