Trying out pro versions of Claude and OpenAI and I am just consistently surprised by how much better ChatGPT is. On the free service Claude seemed like a clear cut winner.

@squaremoon If you are not a techie, easiest option is to download openclaw and qwen2.5:3b model, and point openclaw to that model. Unfortunately this is as less techie as it can get and it’s still pretty techie. If you are just starting out honestly starting with Claude is way better. Unless your role really requires it, there is no real advantage you get by knowing internal details.

@squaremoon Thank you. I got no option really, and sulking and brooding ain’t gonna do much. I don’t want it to sound like I am all positive all day but for most part I keep reminding myself that it will be ok.

Took the Covid and flu shot yesterday and I was knocked out for a solid 24 hours. Worse than actual flu it felt like!
It’s hard to believe it’s been less than a week since I have been let go. The waking up and not having to do anything feeling is real. Is this what retirement feels like? I could get used to this feeling very quickly and that is the worst part of it – I cannot afford to right now. Not yet. If I had a nice sizeable bank balance I would chucked out with this layoff and not bothered anymore. Sigh.
