Dad has an issue with his windows computer we got him on his last trip. I tried IT debugging it for 10 minutes and gave up. What a complete piece of crap windows OS is. Even at its worst Mac OS is not that bad. Ooof.

Dads lifestyle is something else only. Wake up at 9, lunch at 1, siesta in afternoon, walks in evening and eventually going to bed at 2 or 3 in morning. He is living and behaving like a bloody teenager, infuriating me. But I can’t say anything coz I was like that once?
Yesterday Claude code and chat choked up on a question I gave it and kept claiming “ I can’t answer this question coz security yada yada” – for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what part of my question felt like security issue. I changed models, tone, language and it wouldn’t budge. Then I just used another tool and got the answer. I was like kuch bhi 🤷♂️
Almost 3 weeks in I need to start making some calls on what AI subscriptions I want to keep vs not. I am tempted to cancel Claude in favor of Kiro. Of the three major ones, ChatGPT has impressed me so much I am gonna keep the subscription for short term. Kiro is the one the surprised me the most on how good it actually is, though slightly overenthusiastic. Maybe I can give Claude another month or so I guess, but it just isn’t there anymore. Won’t cancel Gemini coz of their full integration with Google services and 5 TB space.
