One of the most refreshing parts about this role change is my white manager who is an outspoken hater of the current party in white house and makes no bones about it publicly. He is upto date on project 25 and is super politically in the know at all times. Its so refreshing personally for me as a brown man because it feels less stressful and refreshing. Compared to my old boss who was a Trumpkin and it felt like walking on eggshells at all times with him.

Personally I was vested in The Last of Us only because of Joel/Pedro Pascal. I actually find Ellie/Bella Ramsey extremely annoying. After episode 2, I decided to go ahead and read the entire plot of Last of Us 2 on Wikipedia and now I don’t have to wait week after week to figure out what happens next. And I am glad I read the whole plot.
If everything went according to plan, India probably hit some 9 obscure sites in Pakistan claiming terrorist camps. Pakistan government also realizes they lost some civilians too. Both sides will shake hands and now retreat for a few more years. Like it’s good both have nukes so neither side actually has any balls to do anything more and maybe that’s actually ok.
Its raining outside, and I can’t get enough of this track today. In particular I love this song on headphones; something about the sound mixing of this song is really immersive!
At 20$ a month, Google Gemini advanced is too expensive for me. I would have gladly tried it if it was like 5/7 bucks a month and came with 400/500gb storage. At 20 bucks its prohibitively expensive. My boss keeps talking about how awesome Gemini is to his workflows and I can see the advantages, but nah, 20 is too much.
Has FIFA or Olympics started considering pulling out of USA for World Cup or Olympics? If not they should be rethinking hosting either in the United States right now. Maybe Americans can participate as Individual Neutral Athlete instead?
The St James sports complex in Springfield is absolutely stunning for the scale at which its built and operated. Its no wonder that this place is already crowded beyond anything. In addition to hosting a full sized gym with so many programs, it has a big cafe, lots of football/soccer fields, scores of basketball courts, a full olympic size swim pool, scores of ice hockey courts and so much more. That said, swim meets are a mess precisely because of how big this place is and how crowded it is all the time. I much prefer smaller venues so parking is easier and its not overfilled with people, but the kids love this place for obvious reasons!

Today was that kind of day where he spent good 10 minutes rolling in the grass. He went there to “fetch” the ball – and then forgot about it once he ended up there. Typical golden retriever. Never change 😍
The dog loves tennis balls but he can never remember where he put them. And then he barks for it, and sometimes if he sees it under the sofa where he can’t reach (and most of time it’s there!), he has a teenager meltdown until you get him the ball. Such drama.
