Sometimes you don’t need clouds or that soft light or the sun setting down the horizon to to get that shot. I like this shot because of the clear skies and not otherwise. Its not often you see Golden Gate THIS clear with no fog or clouds anywhere on the horizon.

It was an incredibly clear day – beautiful to say the least. Wanted to give this photo an old style 1950’s look. Not sure if I succeeded doing it.

I took this shot as our balloon gained height and the sun came out from behind the mountains. Obviously didn’t have the luxury of taking multiple shots to create HDR, but did the same thing I often do – multiple exposures through lightroom of the same pic and then a tone mapped HDR. I quite like this pic even though it not really a great pic to begin with.

The balloon was on ground, so I made it fly in the air. Learning photoshop tricks. Cut the balloon from the ground, created a sky and put the balloon in. Not the neatest of work but a decent beginning for me I guess!
