The better sister is reasonably interesting but why is every character so dour and shitty? Like just coz its set in rich New York don’t mean every character is succession level terrible (but at least they had charisma while being terrible). Still, 4 more episodes to do and it definitely is a time-pass thriller.

This has to be one of my favorite home screens. Olympics last year in Paris was so memorable!
Doing the ONE thing that actually matters right now: vote. There were more people on the weekend with pretty posters and smiling faces than the number of people who have voted in the primaries, and early voting had been open for 3 weeks before Election Day today. There are ZERO people. Zero. So yeah I refuse to take your petty poster parades seriously when you can’t be bothered to do the one thing that actually really matters more than anything. And with that Ghazala for the win! And Jones for kicking it to Trump.
What is infuriating about the parade on Saturday was that they spent 45 million on it. If they were so dedicated to it, why not just sped 145 million and at least make it worth the spectacle? As is you were going to steal that money from medicaid and social security, you could’ve at least given us good TV in return? So stupid – have you even seen how India does these two times a year and delivers on everything?
Felt like 80% of kids at camp were from northern Virginia only. Like literally kid and us ran into so many people. Made me feel a lot more relieved about the camp. Plus she is housed with her besties so this should be fun. Looked way better organized than the Annapolis navy camp of last year. We both def had huge sigh of relief mentally.
My Father’s Day was spent driving 2 hours in rain to UVA and back two hours in pouring rain. On the plus side UVA campus is gorgeous and the kid was immediately I like this way more than college park (which it is!). I was like yeah also one of top universities of state and nation so better get studying 🙃
An excellent fathers day dinner at Agora McLean, a Turkish-Lebanese joint. The food was absolutely delicious! Yet another good middle eastern food option around!
When your doggo who normally likes to walk, cuts it short and demand you take the shorter route home you know the weather’s really swampy. Its just toasty and humid outside & doggo was simply not having it. (The one day you want it to rain and thunder, its taking its own sweet time before pouring! even the Gods have bent the knee.)
I have been very pleasantly surprised and happy with how good USMobile works. For 690 bucks a year (yes, a year), I got three lines, two with 35gb internet and 1 with 10 gb (for kid) + free calling to India and each plan with its own hotspot which we never use. So far we have never been deprioritized or have even felt lack of speed. And 35gb is ample internet per month. 57 bucks for 3 lines per month? I am never going back to Verizon or ATT until something happens to USMobile!
This is America. This is why I refuse to put my family at risk by going to a protest. At the end of the day white people won’t care two hoots about us if something happened to anyone in my family. We have absolutely no one in this country except our friends. It is not worth it.
