The import from micro worked much faster than I thought and way smoother than I expected. It did choke up pikapods and consume all its CPU, but over a period of time it seems like it has finished importing all posts. All lantern images are not working as they should, but I dont know if its because the importer finally choked. Of course I was smart enough to disable the cross-poster before I imported otherwise I would suddenly have 3000 masto/bsky posts!
I am glad to see that I do remember all my DNS fundamentals from yester years. I bought a domain this morning and reconfigured it to point to my pika WordPress test blog. Of course I could repoint it anywhere but I am glad I now have a domain pointed. A gritty hard look at Tihar jail of the 80s. Excellent acting all across and such taut pace all through the 7 episodes run. Vikramaditya Motwane can really make gritty come alive. Highly recommended!
More testing to see if the app works though not a fan of WordPress app – blah. I wonder if there are better WordPress apps!
