You know, at almost 80 all I want to be doing is sitting by beach, reading a book & enjoying the company of my grand kids and all. Now contrast with the daily global shit that Biden is dealing and I can’t imagine why does he want to do this when more than half the country are full of ungrateful fucks. Like really the amount of shit he is dealing with on a daily basis my 80 year old self (if I live that long) would be like hey bhagwan utha le type.

Recruiter: We would love for you to join our team! We have a lot of challenges that you can help solve (read: our org is a complete mess) and we will pay you competitively (read: less than what you make right now). This is really a role for someone who can roll up their sleeves (read: we dont have the right people for the job so you gotta do everything) and someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo (read: our ceo is a dick). Me: No, thank you.

Randomly put on a song of QSQT on YouTube and ended up watching all songs. What a beautiful movie and such an epic soundtrack it was. They don’t make those innocent kind of love stories anymore.

Finally saw Avatar, the way of water. The thing is I have zero recollection of the first movie – I saw it once in theater, liked it, and then forgot about it. I am hoping this one is better, though not counting on much except incredible special effects. Maybe thats worth it!

We had an unusually exhausting weekend. I suppose a birthday party on a cold day really knocked the wind out of us. Need a few more days of recovery sleep.

The problem with Severence is the same problem that plagued Westworld. You can keep adding characters and do world building but the core story is done. This is going Westworld way.

The weekend just flew by it feels like. Exhausted after a eventful weekend spent with friends from Philly. I need like several days recovery time!

Well what happens when you offer help at work to clean up strategy deck? You end up owning it and presenting it to the company! And that is exactly what will happen to me next week. I am mildly WTF mode right now. I mean I dont mind it, but I don’t necessarily enjoy public speaking; I am really good in smaller settings and smaller audiences, but talking to 100s of people, even though i’ve done it many times is not my cup of tea. Its one of the reasons why I moved away from technical marketing role because it was too much public speaking that I didnt quite enjoy much.

Oh I had no idea i could cross post to twitter. But i would have preferred it if I could decide *which* posts to cross post, and not just all like it is now.
