Excited to begin For All Mankind season 3 but need to get past the S4 of stranger things. Stranger things needs to end now, even if it is still campy fun. Go out on high rather than become a fat bore.
Busy weekend ahead. Kids bday party followed by a get together at ours in evening and another bday party tomorrow! Glad I got a solid 8 hour sleep last night!
There was a leadership offsite last week that I did not attend because of my own family from India over. Turns out 13 out 15 are now down with Covid, so the offsite ended up being a super spreader event. Every one of the 13 are basically working and no ones taken off. This is how “endemic” at this point Covid has become IMO. You can’t blame anyone not taking this seriously – eh, look at the good part here – the vaccines worked, and they worked brilliantly well!
The whole Joyce Hopper story line in Stranger Things S4 is a big fat bore honestly. LIke I couldn’t care two hoots about either character and frankly at this point I wouldn’t mind if demons ate them up to save us of the misery of tolerating these two.
Glad to US ending the nonsense testing requirement to enter the country. Like boss you have highest number of cases and deaths in the world lekin kya drama karna hai. Good riddance.
Last day of school today and I can’t help feeling how big my kid has gotten 🙁 – time is flying by and I can’t do anything to stop it.
In spite of more of the same feeling stranger things season 4 does really improve. On episode 4 and def feel the need to finish the series – which is basically saying it’s not born if even though it feels the same.
A report of mine blew up today because he felt I kept him in the dark and I didn’t pull him in when required, and that I had sidelined him even though he really should have been owning it because he was the SME.
All valid points. How do I as a manager tell him though that the reason I am doing all of it is to inherently protect him; that he had a small HR complaint against him (no, nothing serious), and that a VP specifically requested he not be included because of his cynical attitude even though he is a smart chap?
