πΊ Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web (2026) – β ββββ

Couldn’t get past episode 3. Whatever the rubbish is this.
Spaceman Spiff to the rescue
These are tv shows we have seen recently.

πΊ Stranger Things (2016) – β β β β β

Absolutely landed the ending IMO even though a few episodes were meandering. This show has been such an integral part of our TV watching last decade – R was 5 when it first aired, to her becoming a fan when she stated watching it two years ago, to now all of us sitting and watching the finale as R as in high school feels like a journey. There wonβt be a show like this again for a while for sure.
πΊ Pluribus (2025) – β β β ββ

Pluribus has to seriously pick its pace and story to be a more compelling watch. Will forgive the first season as Gilligan world building but gosh the show is a torture for most part.
πΊ Task (2025) – β β β β β

Nothing original in terms of storyline but beautifully acted and situated. How good was Tom Pelphrey?
πΊ Delhi Crime (2019) – β β β ββ

Season 3 was hard hitting as usual but Huma Qureshi butchers it mostly because she is surrounded by so much superior talent. Season 1 and 2 have set the bar.
πΊ The Family Man (2019) – β β βββ

After 4 years, season 3 was such a let down. Like ghisa pita to the T. Did not expect this at all from the family man.
πΊ The Morning Show (2019) – β β β ββ

Gosh the S4 season finale was laughably bad! After so much build up everything resolves in a matter of minutes. Like wut?!
πΊ The Great British Bake Off (2017) – β β β β β

In its 16th season still remains our family favorite. I still remember starting to watch this show years back when my kid was like 6-7 and itβs still a show that just makes us happy!
πΊ Slow Horses (2022) – β β β β β

The best show on television continues to remain the best show on television in season 5.
πΊ The Ba***ds of Bollywood (2025) – β β β ββ

The first five episodes were good, and the mindless absurd humor meets the mark. The numerous cameos work wonderfully well (seriously is there any Bollywood actor who did not have a cameo in this series?), and the meta references on everything and everyone Bollywood often land, because they are not over explained. Then the series becomes a mess in the last two episodes with a twist that just doesn’t land. Still, I feel like there is a good director in Aryan who really felt he had to prove he could direct any genre. Maybe next time stick to a couple. That said, absolutely fab acting by Karan Johar playing himself, and how good was Arshad Warsi in a hardly 10 minute role but lands it so well that every other cameo looks sub par.
