Why do the icon sizing look so weird on IOS26? I am sure they are all the same size but the Liquid Glass treatment creates a weird optical illusion making some icons for some apps feel like it’s stretched out in bottom. It feels like visual metaphor they were going for is looking down physically. Just doesn’t seem to work – I can see how it could work for a VR device but on the phone it looks off Ux wise. So unlike Apple this!

Fall is here. The first half of fall is wonderful, probably my favorite time of year. The second half not so much and then leads into the worst time of the year. That said, can’t believe fall is already here. The days are long, but the years seem to go faster and faster now.
