Me and a couple of colleagues working in different teams are trying to get together for lunch. Apparently the earliest we can all do a lunch together at work is mid October. How the fuck can people be THAT busy? It’s literally lunch! We sit on different floors in different teams is all. And we need to fucking plan 2 months ahead?

The kid is taking World History + English combination honors class this year. As a part of the class the books they will read through the year are The Odyssey, The Martian, Rocket Boys (On which October Sky was based on) and Fahrenheit 451. I told her I’m going to co-read the books with her as she goes through year. We also made plans to watch the movies too once she finishes the books, ending with the Nolan adaptation of Odyssey next year. I am loving this course more than her right now.
The deck guys are working in full gusto today but I don’t get why they didn’t work with such fervor last week itself. Typical contractor stuff. I am not escalating until next week.
The barista in our building does not get extra hot cappuccino. He basically burns the coffee inside out. No, I just need a little extra hot coz he makes it lukewarm, but gosh he takes extra hot to the other extreme!
I may or may not have inadvertently also fixed the duplicate posts on RSS feed issue. I’ll know soon if I did.
Claude gave me a script that just ran out of the box perfectly. Why the fuck was I even trying to code something? I mean I liked the tinkering around but heck yeah I just need to see results.
Did some work today on my WordPress blog after a while. While I am not sure if any of my work will actually umm, work, but still it was fun tinkering around a bit. Finding Claude/Gemini super useful in these cases.
Hopefully my echo feeds now show up. I had forgotten that I had made it so that my micro posts were excluded from main posts. Why would I do that? I do not know!
I am absolutely loving the newsom petty tweets. A few years ago I would shaking my head if people governing and leaders would behave like this but Trump has lowered the bar so much I am here for all the pettiness!
