Went to a steakhouse and ate fish last night and I must admit the fish was goddamn delicious! No regrets not picking the steak.

Day 2 of off-site and it has been a refreshing change to finally meet the team in person. Remote work is good and all but doesn’t beat the in person productivity IMO. I wish more of my team was local so we could do work from work 1-2 days a week.

The whole Apple crash detection misfiring on roller coasters is hilarious. Its tough to imagine Apple did *not* think of this scenario happening (and other high velocity sports with abrupt directional changes), especially since they were already making the rugged *Ultra*, but I guess someone with their power point must have conviced leadershp with “data” that the number of people on roller coasters wearing watch was miniscule and it was worth it to have government spend $$$ on police responding to em.

I’ve been slowly trying to drop masking in places I feel a bit comfortable doing so. Gonna be a while before I feel fully comfy to be maskless everywhere (maybe never?)
