I miss Spain so much. It’s the people. It’s always the people. Switzerland is stunningly beautiful and so is Paris but neither of these places have the charm of Spain or Greece and it just all boils down to people.

I may or may not have eaten too many puranpolis.
My in-laws brought 4 bags from India, out of which 3 were full of food. A has run out of room in pantry to store it all. Meanwhile I am just scoping where A has put what so I can independently take ’em without her noticing. I feel like Indravadhan Sarabhai right now.
My farmer in laws have already scoped out the backyard and starting planning on what he wants to achieve. I have told them they have a free rein to do what they please!
Didn’t sleep well at all. This is what happens when you gorge on a 2000 calorie meal at night full of Indian savories and sweets!
Apparently HBO wants to cast Voldemort as a woman. I guess they could just offer the role to JK Rowling and call it a day!
My in laws know how much I love the supari around their area (heck my FIL is a Areca nut farmer) so this time around not only did they bring supari but also brought paan leaves and the whole 9 yards to make a culcutta meetha. I guess from tomorrow I will also start marking the neighborhood like my dog (IYKYK)
Well of course my in laws had to bring curry leaves, South Indian greens, and random assorted vegetables they grew in their farm 😆 . Heck the amount of coconut they have brought would have made Kamala happy!
While my wife is indulging in small talk with her parents I and kid are impatiently waiting for the in laws to open their Pandora’s box of Indian savories and sweets. The bags are heavy aka lots and lots of food has been brought 😋🤤
In-laws coming tomorrow for a 6 week trip. I and kid are very excited because we are going to be fed some exquisite coastal Karnataka cuisine for the next 6 weeks! Putting away the weighing scale for a while.
