The rings of power really needs better editors and frankly much much much better music. The background music including the credit music is so lackluster, boring and unmemorable. Part of GOTs success was phenomenal music by Ramon Djwadi. It’s a shame that even with billion dollars they couldn’t find a better music director.

Exactly what happens in every poll that shows a democrat ahead few months before election only to change by election time. Won’t be surprised if Fetterman loses eventually. [Fetterman’s lead over Oz shrinks in Pennsylvania Senate race: poll – The Hill](https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3667715-fettermans-lead-over-oz-shrinks-in-pennsylvania-senate-race-poll/)

This week I have averaged 7.30 hours of sleep each night which is great. Nothing like going to bed on time and waking up on time. Is this old age?

Yesterday we had a intro call with one of kitchen designers in our area. Small firm. Good reviews etc. On the initial call, the designer’s like we really like to know our clients “intimately”! When we do design, we check every cabinet and what’s in there, what you cook, how you cook and design the kitchen according to your lifestyle.

I’m like yeah, thanks. No need to get to us know intimately – its a fucking kitchen.

Over the last two weeks we’ve had several contractors come to our place to give us quotes about various projects that we knew we’ve wanted to do, but thanks to inflation/supply chain and insane demand for home remodeling in our areas, the sticker price has been truly shocking for us. I dont know if a hit to economy is going to get down the costs next year, but if the real estate drop of 10-15% holds true, it would actually be cheaper to just buy another house and move than invest that much $$$ in home improvement. Yes, even considering an initial 10% phatka you may have if you sell your current home, it will still work out better long term.

No, not that we are planning on buying another home lol, but it certainly has dampened our desire to remodel our current house based on sticker price. i am hoping the economy will correct their prices too.

For all the talk about democracy how can a single judge wreck so much damage aka cannon?

Do you ever really learn to love your second home? I loved our first house so much and I miss it more & more as time goes by in our second house. I’ve read it takes time before you really adjust to your house, so I am hoping it will come true.

There is really no sense at all in upmarking services around here. Our house came with a sprinkler system (surprise, we didnt know) and one of the pipes connecting a sprinkler showerhead was leaking. Started calling irrigation professionals in the last two weeks and quotes ranged anywhere from 600$ to 1800$ (go figure!). Found a handyman through thumbtack – replaced the leaking piple for 100 bucks. I understand inflation & economy and all, but upmarking a service has to have some sense to it.

Gotta love reviews that start with ‘You will burst with suspense’. Yeah, no. I have no desire to burst myself with ‘suspense’. WTF does that even mean?

Our land survey saga is unending. Now the other neighbor came by to tell us that our survey is wrong and we shouldn’t extend our fence. I am like do you have a plat? Yeah he has from 20+ years ago! How does he know that is right and mine is wrong? He doesn’t. He thinks because our previous owners landscaped it in such a way there is a natural line between our and their property it must be it. Sorry bro, I am getting back my 20 ft. You think it’s your property, go get a land survey done.
