Done and voted. Was surprised to see the amount of people coming in to vote. Hopefully means something. I am sure warm weather had something to do with it – which makes me wonder why are elections not held in summer or spring? Weather is nicer and people may show up more.

Remember the 90s watching cricket on tv when they used to show Picture in Picture mode so you could see batsmen taking run while also looking at where the ball went? Our TVs are so much larger format now and HD, why don’t they bring it back? If anything current TV real estate would make this so much more useful! I really thought it was such a useful way of showing two aspects of game simultaneously

Weird issue with iPhone 14 pro max – the phone recharge to 100% overnight! I dunno what gives? It says it’s doing the optimized charging nonsense so it will be 100% by 6am and yet when I wake up it’s barely 75-80% charged. WTF!

Last Christmas, our artificial tree gave up its heart…. So this year, to save us from tears, we need something special!

All this to say I am very tempted this year to have a real Christmas tree in house instead of artificial – any pro / cons of doing so? Or save the trouble?
