I am usually a pessimist when it comes to elections here but even if democrats lose the house I am heartened by the fact that it was this close and most likely senate is secure. This gives me hope and makes me feel if the economy was doing better and inflation under control, democrats might have done even better than this. For the first time in a while I feel hopeful – maybe the kids will save us and the country allright.
