The kid and her BFF are eating at the university dining hall and exclaiming everything is so yummy to rolling eyes of most students eating here and I am like let’s hear you say this in 9 years 😂😂
Two hot dogs, bottle of water, chips and gummies – 8.38$. Gotta love university cafes – plus the low quality hot dogs at university cafes always taste better than anything out there don’t they?
Unlike soccer, swim meets are excruciatingly painful to sit through. Kids are allowed only 3 races per day, and given the plethora of combinations swimming has, your kid is going to swim a grand total of 2-3 minutes spread across 3 races which are almost always 1 hour apart 😭.
See the thing is if I want I can go to ikea which is not too far away from swim meet to kill time better – but then I will walk out with $$$$ worth of shit that I absolutely had to buy in the store but didn’t need any of it.
1000+ kids today and way way more parents in stands I guess thanks weekend. Proper RSV/Covid festival feel. Yeah I am masked fuck 99% of you.
Dear Michael : no, I do NOT fucking want your photos shared via AirDrop. Who the fuck are you and why are you sending pictures to strangers? Ugggh.
Maybe this warrants a longer post about why I don’t necessarily think USA being a dominant force in soccer is a good thing. But first I must get through 4 hour swim meet, and a sport that has practically become a USA show at this pt.
Looking forward to opinion pieces tomorrow on how soccer is losing its relevance sport (coz USA is not in it) (just like men’s tennis lost relevance apparently after usa didn’t have any champs)
On the positive side we will be spared of some horrendous commentary had usa made it
