In three days I have been here I have had some yummiest shrimp, snapper, grouper, salmon, crab and lobster.
I have not had this much fish day after day as I am having here – but the fish is fresh, and light and fucking delicious. I could keep eating this for a while.
Tried parasailing for the first time in my life. Surprisingly I was not scared in spite of fear of heights, and it was actually a lot of fun, so much so that when my daughter who missed our first time coz she was scared too decided she wanted to try too and I had to do it the second time. No better place than Turks – even 300/400 ft above you can clearly clearly see the bottom of turquoise sea. Just mind boggling how beautiful it looked.
Honestly the best part of the vacation is being away from America. That’s it. I am so glad I splurged extra $$$ to get out of America for vacation.
The grace bay at Turks and Caicos is rightfully rated as one of the best beaches in the world. While not quite Maldives level for me, this is a stunning beach with white powder sand and gorgeous clear water.
A much needed vacation has commenced
I dunno why Darlings is getting such rave reviews. We couuldn’t even get to midway point. The problem is the setup. Within the first 10 mins, the movie has been setup, and the trailers pretty much gave away anything else so it feels like a drag.
For context, we haven’t been able to find Maggi in Indian stores for more than 6 months. Today we kind of chanced upon it and bought a handful of packets. Naturally, lunch was Maggi.
The kid quipped today was the best home cooked lunch she’s had in ages. In ages. We made her Maggi.
