Mums and dads with their laptops open and ferociously typing away working hard in this swim meet – i pity you. You have my sympathies.

Also it’s been three months we been here and we are figured out that in spite of a bigger house our energy consumption is actually lower than the townhouse. Small victories!

Had it not been for the swim meet my goal was to install the ecobee s. Turns out because our house is all electric and dual ac / furnance I have like 8 fuses to turn off on the main panel – and am like yeah I need broad daylight to do this shit lol. It’s weird in the townhouse we had just one breaker for entire ac / furnance but apparently this is common for all electric.

Yaar Elon just file for fucking presidency, win and finish the job that your BFF trump started. Hate this slow train wreck of destruction.

Day 3 of swim meet and all I ask for today is no traffic on capital beltway. The I-495 capital beltway highway is absolutely the worst highway in the United States. Maybe the ring road around DC started as a great idea but it’s become a bottleneck that bogs down everything else along with it.

Though, the dining hall is impressive in the number of choices – Mexican, Asian, all day breakfast, pizzas and hajaar other options – so much better than the sorry state of affairs our dining halls were 20 years back .

The kid and her BFF are eating at the university dining hall and exclaiming everything is so yummy to rolling eyes of most students eating here and I am like let’s hear you say this in 9 years 😂😂

Two hot dogs, bottle of water, chips and gummies – 8.38$. Gotta love university cafes – plus the low quality hot dogs at university cafes always taste better than anything out there don’t they?
