Just like the India I miss is not the India it is today, the USA I came to and now miss is not the same USA it is anymore.
A 2 day offsite that I need to bear. I was hoping that I would be uninvited and asked to join remotely but no, I am supposed to make it in person. Oh well at least I will get to visit Chai Paani again.
4 days left in team and mofo still want me to attend 8pm calls. Hell no. I rejected them when I was in team what makes you think I will accept them on way out 😂
Last week at this company and I have to say I am definitely feeling apprehensive about leaving this behemoth. I sometimes feel whether I did the right thing? Why did I have to leave my safe cushioned job, in this economy, to try out something brand new? What was the need? I know I was good enough here. If I had stayed, I could have kept earning my nice paycheck without a lot of effort. I could, quite literally coast for a few more years. I didn’t have great ambitions within my company and considering how hard it is to get to next level it was never on my list of things to achieve; However I was also at a good level that I didn’t need to keep thinking about moving up. In other words, the status quo would’ve been just fine. I guess it’s just me. I am just not cut out for being content.

Gorgeously mounted absolutely pointless threequel. Why does this movie exist other than being a cash grab? The story goes nowhere at all. Unless avatar 4-5 have some of technological marvel to support flimsy plot I think we are done with this series.
One of the wonderful parts about the internet is you can become an expert in any topic within 24 hours. Right now everyone seems to be PHD level expert in Venezuela. I guess tomorrow we tackle another topic.

A well made well acted movie based on life of Shah Bano Begum, whose fight for equal rights for Muslim women went all the way to Supreme Court. The movie is simple and that’s what works – no jingoism or tamasha.

Ukraine and Venezuela are exactly why countries like North Korea and Iran are chasing nuclear weapons. In today’s world if you are a decently big country, not investing in nuclear deterrance and not having a mutually assured destruction strategy is basically a recipe for disaster. I am so happy India never signed on to the NPT and CTBT treaty nonsense.
