Started watching The Ba***ds of Bollywood over the weekend directed by Aryan Khan. Cant help feeling he really wanted it to be The Studio of Bollywood. The first episode was fine nothing great but I am willing to see through a few episodes to see if it actually makes a good Studio kinda show in India.

The election season is coming up in Virginia and you can already see the white moms of fairfax county starting to emerge from their hibernation mode questioning everything that school is teaching their precious white kids, having a problem with everything teachers or fcps is doing and generally riling up Facebook groups or forums around here. 🍿 Don’t Look Up (2021) – ★★★★☆
I remember starting this movie when it came out and not getting past 15-20 minutes coz it was so absurd. 4 years down the line the political and societal decline has been so bad that this totally absurd comedy feels very realistic now! Like if a comet were to actually show up, the United States government and its people would exactly behave the way they showed in this movie, to the T. So yeah a hilarious watch!

I fully support the Trump 100000$ per person per year fee on H1b. This will be the end of body shops as we know it and many of them were trump supporters so I will relish in their demise. The “proclamation” gives exceptions so most big companies will be just fine – and they will just ramp hiring in India, which if India plays this well is a great opportunity to become an innovation center. It sucks for people out of country right now though and my heart goes out to them as apparently if you are out on h1b and want to come back to USA you have to pay 100k at entry.
I think we give Americans too much credit by saying they were stupid by revoting the current president to power. By saying they are stupid, we give them the benefit of doubt of being ignorant, or victim of a scam, or they are not smart. The reality is people were not stupid – this is exactly what they voted for. Don’t be under any impression that majority of this country is stupid. Trump is doing exactly what the majority wanted. Don’t blame the messenger – blame yourselves!
