I am not sure what I did but when I posted photos from micro app it went to the blog and not the timeline. What gives? [@help](https://micro.blog/help)
Old, 2021 – ★★★★

This was a perfect Airline movie; There was something creepy about it and I actually liked the way Shyamalan shot it.
Knock at the Cabin, 2023 – ★★★

This was campy fun. Never gets too serious and not bad either.
Triangle of Sadness, 2022 – ★

Absolute crap movie. Starts off slightly funny but that whole ship sequence and later is crap, literally.
Pakistan is playing in one the most rabid anti Muslim cities in India and the home monster who is a certified anti Muslim nationalist of highest order is in the crowds attending this India Pakistan match – is anyone actually surprised they are nott doing well? Pakistan team must be like fuck this shit we’d rather throw away the match than die!
After what feels like teo weeks work is beginning to speed up again in kitchen. The county approval process for permits and plans is so ridiculously slow even when you expedite it!
There is a valid criticisms against FAANG companies but I also think if you are in the right groups you get to work with some of the smartest people in the industry. Before boomeranging back to my company, I worked at a startup for 18 months which sounded promising on paper, and the reality was the absolute opposite of it. I spent 80% of time dealing with overtly sensitive engineers, PMs and other people in the company. The whole time I was there I felt like I was walking on eggshells, and absolutely nothing got done because everyone seemed to be on edge of blowing up all the time, in the name of DEI and umm, wokeness. I couldnt get ONE fucking thing launched in the company because of the sensitive babies at work who needed so much mollycoddling and hand holding it felt like I was in a fucking toddler day care. So when I came back it was refreshing that I could be… *myself* and get shit done. Everyone’s got a job to do, we are blunt with our feedback, there’s no hard feelings at end of the day, and at the end of it all I was able to a launch something with 5x less engineers than I had at the startup. What a fucking relief.
Third product launch of my career this week and I am proud of it! I work with a great bunch of engineers and product folks who make it so much more fun. This week was the first time we all met in person and it was so nice putting a face on people and getting to know them better. There is absolutely no substitute for real human connection. I am not pro RTO at all but weeks like these convince me a hybrid model is the way to go.
Zero empathy for clowns who elected clowns to the house. Stupid voters elect stupid people.
