Virat Kohli is kinda done isnt he? I can’t imagine him being a part of Indian team for too long now if Gautam Gambhir does become the India head coach after this series. Given the acrimonious relationship between the two its hard to see Kohli continuing for too long, other than extending his tenure for money.

Of all the places I feel glad not live in, the pacific northwest probably takes the top spot, primarily because of the dreary weather and nothing else. If not, OMG, also probably one of the prettiest part of the country.

I mean Inside Out 2 is a terrific movie but I didn’t imagine it would be this kind of a monstrous world wide blockbuster. Pixar really tapped into something here!

There’s a legitimate complaint to be made that Xulfi who is the new producer of Coke Studio Pakistan has taken the show into a direction nobody expected it to be and it has lost the essence of how it started. Rohail Hyatt did an amazing job as did Strings on this show but it was already dated by the time they left. Rohail tried again unsuccessfully in my opinion to revive it. What Xulfi did with the show was breathe a new life into it – he turned the show upside down every which way and made it into a complete different show with absolute bangers one after another. Sure you can complain that it has lost the classical touch and pure music of earlier seasons but dont discount the fact that Xulfi brought a new genre altogether with change in format and advent of pop-rap. I for one am absolutely enjoying this rebirth of Coke Studio!

If it was India modi would have personally escorted the Hindujas to a slave market and let them have their fill as long as his ass was stuffed with money. And then his bhakts would defend that also. But of course we plan a trip to the alps and now they had such crazy rain and storms that it’s caused landslides and floods in multiple mountain towns including some that we have hotel reservations and bookings. Hopefully they recover quickly! Brings back memories of Chile trip that I had half booked already before earthquake struck there.

We got lucky on the highway from hell, also known as capital beltway on way back from Annapolis. Usually Friday afternoon at this time is always going to be a complete mess, but got lucky and we were home in an hour or so!
