I no longer feel bad that I feel tired and groggy after 5pm everyday knowing that my 80 year old president also gets tired after 4pm. Also, this [Jeff Bezos video on 10am meetings](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfY3uRCvEMo) really lays it out what a President’s job also is (He is talking about executives, but applies to anyone). So much for feeling low energy post 4pm.

One of the most annoying aspects of any European website is they don’t auto change the language to English based on ip location. It’s not that hard! Every one of them forces you to switch to English explicitly! Like why not just offer me the English version if you already know my location od access is usa? Fucking annoying!

It really is true that around 13-14 year old mark most teens start dropping out of sports. The number of kids at this 13 and over swim meet is half the usual you see at a 13 and under meet. Of course we are in deep summer so that also explains a bit but no denying how much it starts dropping off as they get older.

It’s been a few days after debate now and I can say that I am ok if Biden is indeed replaced and someone else takes over. The other candidate is not going to do better or worse at this point and honestly saving the democracy in this monumental election is on us, We The People. Met a few friends over weekend and parents at swim meets and overarching feeling was it was an absolute disaster. Nobody said they wouldn’t support Biden but practically everyone was like this is a parody at this point. I support Biden all the way but I really do think dropping out might warrant a thought. I wouldn’t mind a Kamala-Pete ticket (which I originally did think would happen in 2024).

It’s actually amazing if Kohli did decide to retire on this high from t20. That said I don’t think he will stick around in this team too long with Gambhir taking over coach. I think he is getting ahead of the eventual clash with Gambhir anyway. Great move by him! I will bet he will not continue with Gambhir too long.
